Event Description

It's our 3rd Annual Barter Fair and Cider Press!

Come trade your home-made or home-grown goods with friends and neighbors! Barter skills and services! Do you have too much zucchini or too many canned tomatoes? Here's a chance to connect with some who bakes tasty pies, knits cute hats or knows how to fix your bike and wants your excess produce.

Note: This is not a flea market. No money will exchange hands at this event and all traded goods must be of your own creation.

There will also be 3 cider presses on hand for pressing apples, pears and grapes. Bring your own fruit to press and containers for holding cider. Don't forget a bucket for the mash remainders for composting.

We'll provide some apples as well for pressing so even if you don't have any fruit to contribute, still bring a container or two for drinking community cider!

Fun music entertainment will be provided by members of the Torn ACLs and perhaps the Barker Boys! We'll also have an afternoon open jam session so bring your instruments!!

Very weird, I added "goats helping to clean up pomace (mash)" last week or two & had reply from Elise and now its all disappeared?   Anyway, we'll bring tubs for mash if your compost doesn't want the slimy mess, goats will close that loop like in past years and process the waste very locally.
