Event Description

Forage from the wild lands of NE Seattle, then prepare a meal using what's been gathered. Shotweed salad anyone?  This is a special community kitchen on Saturday, March 21 from 9-1. We'll begin at Meadowbrook Community Center, venture out to gather ingredients, then return to the community center to cook and eat.  Register for this community kitchen by calling Meadowbrook at 206-684-7522. A $15.00 fee covers the cost of extra ingredients. Facilitated by Sue McGann and Lee LaCroix and Susan Gregory.

Wish I could be there with you guys!  I miss you all.  But you've inspired me to do a little foraging myself on the island. The 'weeds' are growing fast!! I'll let you know what I come up with!
