Event Description

This months kitchen centers on foods that can be gathered from natural areas in our city and on nutritional powerhouses otherwise known as weeds.  We'll be making fresh pasta with nettle pesto, a salad of wild and tame greens and dandelion muffins. Register  for this community kitchen by calling Meadowbrook Community Center at 206-684-7522. All Community Kitchens have a fee of $15.00, which covers the cost of ingredients. This kitchen is led by Joyce Mastenbrook and Susan Gregory.
