Event Description

Sustainable NE Seattle (and our Local Economy / Local Currency Investing Network) is a Community Partner of Community Capital: Seattle.

Next up in this educational series is the second session of the month on crowdfunding, CSAs, and Pre-Sales to help local businesses launch and grow.

We'll gather for a panel discussion with local folks who are putting these into practice. Moderated by Rachel Maxwell of Community Sourced Capital, our panel will include Matt Lewis of Roux, Katlin Jackson with Fundrise, and a soon-to-be confirmed CSA innovator (stay tuned and check our website for updates!).

As always at our evening panel, we'll enjoy a locally sourced happy hour featuring delectable noshes from Central Co-op, sparkling wine from Treveri Cellars, and cider from Finnriver Farm & Cidery.

As a Community Partner, Sustainable NE Seattle’s members receive a discount code for 15% off – contact John ( for the code at least 24 hours ahead of an event.

Tickets are $20 for the general public (and include the previous primer on 2/4). SGBN members, contact Jessica -- for discount code). Not a SGBN member? You can sign up today!
Networking and happy hour drinks and nibbles included!

Community Capital: Seattle is an event series designed to educate, connect, and spark dialogue around the emerging field of community capital. Featuring successful, tested models from here and around the country, we'll focus on a different business or investment model each month to explore how it can be used to channel money into our local economy and build a thriving community.
