Event Description

Was last spring & summer an indication of how Climate Change will affect water resources in the Pacific Northwest?  If it was not an anomaly, then what can we do proactively to enhance our access to this life giving essential.

Kelly O'Rourke, from Seattle Public Utilities, will address water conservation practices that will stretch the resource, saving water for everyone, especially important as more people are moving into the watershed.  And we will talk about alternative water harvesting methods which will help us to water our gardens, saving money and yielding a harvest.

After a short introduction, we will open up the floor to discussion, so bring your ideas and questions, and we will tease out new solutions to our water future.

Access the event at the Friends Fellowship Hall via the parking lot on 25th Avenue NE, or the NE Tool Library parking lot.
