Event Description

"With Federal and Washington incentives it is possible to recover the total cost of residential rooftop photovoltaic installations and charge an all-electric vehicle for 20+ years. This discussion presents options available to homeowners and businesses for early cost recovery, by identifying costs and payback while incentives are available."

Tracy Farwell is a NE Seattle resident who recently closed out a 40 year career in industry as an electrical systems engineer, and is now researching renewable energy as an alternative to dependency on fossil fuels. The cost modeling is based on the power needed for daily commuting and shows the possibility of no carbon emissions, no net energy from the power grid and no fuel cost.

I will be out of town, but I would like to read about this information online.

Sorry we won't be able to make it... We've committed to the Meadowbrook Community garden meeting (same time) a long time ago - its been posted since June 3rd...

I'm going to be out of town on the 24th, but this sounds quite impressive. If there are any online resources that gather these cost recovery incentives in one place, I would be interested to take a look.
