Event Description

The Ravenna Community Garden is hosting a screening of Symphony of the Soil on Friday evening January 31 at Ravenna Eckstein Community Center. The doors will open at 6:30 and we will begin the film promptly at 7:00.  This event is free but donations toward the cost of the screening will be happily accepted.  Popcorn, of course! We will take some time after the film for a discussion.

Symphony of the Soil  explores the complexity and mystery of soil. Filmed on four continents and sharing the voices of some of the world’s most esteemed soil scientists, farmers and activists, the film portrays soil as a protagonist of our planetary story.

We hope you will join us for this special event!

Hi -- this looks riveting.  It's a topic that interests me keenly and I keep not-learning-enough-about-it even tho' soil influences - well, what doesn't it affect, one way or another?!    I've sent off an email to some local (M.I.) greens, forwarding your invitation, and hope to bring a carpool.  Thanks very much, looking forward to a week from Friday.
