Event Description

This class start in the wilds of NE Seattle, where we'll roam in search of the not-so-elusive wild nettle. Prepare to hear about how nettles grow, how to find them, and why we should care. After harvesting, we'll adjourn to the Meadowbrook Community Center, where we'll explore processing our bounty into tea, plant feed, and tasty treats for us!

Space is limited, so please RSVP!

Suggested donation: $5-$10 to cover the cost of ingredients, but no one will be turned away. Bring long-sleeved shirts, long pants, heavy gloves, and closed shoes, plus a food-grade bucket and pruners if you have them.

If anyone can arrive early to stash cars for carpooling to Meadowbrook Community Center, please let me know.

Thanks!
