If you are a reluctant bike rider or just want to go for an instructional ride, this is the event for you. We are trying to get a SPOKESPEOPLE group started in this area and this event is a way to advance that.
SPOKESPEOPLE Rides with Seattle Children's Hospital.
Saturday, April 9 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Start at Seattle Children's Administration Building parking lot, 6901 Sand Point Way NE.
Learn about proposed biking and pedestrian improvements projects that Seattle Children's has offered to fund. This ride is perfect for new, returning, and reluctant cyclists. Please join SPOKESPEOPLE on this fun, low carbon, community ride. We'll return to the starting point by 1 P.M.
Please come by 10:45 if you are new to riding in groups or if you need help adjusting your helmet or bike. All ages and skill levels welcome! All SPOKESPEOPLE rides are led by certified Cascade Bike Club Ride Leaders and include expert commuters who accompany us to offer encouragement and model good road riding techniques. Please join us!
