Let's fix up Thornton Creek ravine!
Last fall a group of volunteers pulled a bunch of invasives from the park and now it's time for phase 2: re-weeding, mulching, and installing native plants!
I will try to borrow some tools, but they may not be available, so please bring any gloves and tools you may have (shovels, hoes, strong rakes etc). Any extra strong people you may have lying around would also be great to bring. I'm hoping to be able to move some large pieces of steel which were dumped on the site.
Dates: Saturday March 10th & Sunday March 11th
Times: Noon-4pm both days
Location: Thornton Creek natural area, accessed by following 17th Ave NE north until it dead ends at the south edge of the park
(just north of NE 100th St).
