The film “Sustainable” weaves together expert analysis of America’s food system with the story of one remarkable farmer, Marty Travis, who is creating a future for his family and his farming community by adopting sustainable agriculture. The film examines the inter-relationships between the environment, economics and public health. After the film, Dr. David Montgomery, Professor at the University of Washington and author of the recent book “Growing A Revolution”, will provide commentary and answer questions.  He will also have signed copies of his book available for purchase.

Watched this film online.  Beautiful...but...  The sustainable agriculture movement will only be sustainable when poor people are its primary market.
