Hey All,

     After much conceptualizing, designing, and modification, EcoEnergyWA has a multi-faceted renewable energy system concept for upcoming neighborhood production and would like to take a few minutes of your time to tell you a little about it and ask your opinions on what you think...

     Before we start, let me introduce the base design branches of this overall system...

1.  Micro-Hydro Rain Terracing Systems : Upcoming neighborhoods in elevated areas are eligible for updatable storm drain systems.  Filtration, multi-tiered collection and utilization of rain water for homes and neighborhoods on mountainsides provide weather conditional power generation, gravitationally retainable electricity reserves, additional pollution protection for our rivers and streams and flood control for the land below.


2.  Vertical Axis Wind Turbine Electricity Generation Systems : Newer vertical axis turbine systems provide renewable power generation with 360 degree 3 axis wind capability. (Utilizes updrafts, downdrafts or any lateral direction wind without having to change device direction)  Variable size turbines that (unlike the common 3 or 4 prop turbines) are nearly silent and can be seen and safely avoided by birds and bats.  Depending on location, a GREAT mainsource or substantial energy supplement.


3.  Turbo-Dynamic Mobile Emergency Power Units : The latest "cutting-edge" technology from our R&D collective.  We worked together with a California Automotive Hybrid company specializing in Hydrogen upgrades to existing cars and combined it with the finely tuned electric alternators used in wind generators to create the PowerBus.  By attaching Hydrogen-engine upgrades to school busses, we've made a high-torque, axle-run series of electric generators capable of producing between 48-90Kw of electricity with nearly 0 emissions.  GREAT for emergency situations and producing mobile power to remote locations.  Can also (due to Hydrogen upgrade's superior fuel burning capabilities) burn off "bad gas" that has been unsafely stored in fuel tanks in junk yards, removing the hazard of fire and chemical contamination to the surrounding the area.

     I would LOVE to hear what you think about our systems.  All of these can be established within 1 overall system to independently power communities and provide supplemental power to "the grid" generating energy credits.  Any questions will be answered promptly and all comments or suggestions are welcomed.

The micro-hydro idea might work for places like Issaquah's Mirrormont neighborhood, Couger Mtn. neighborhoods and places like Somerset in Bellevue. Whether the amount of electricity generated would be worth the capital investment and maintenance expense is an open question. What's the IRR on such a project compared with other renewable projects?

The vertical wind turbine idea is a little less attractive but for upland areas might work. That said, vertical turbines are subject to the same turbulence problems as horizontal turbines requiring tall towerw and the towers can't reach adjoining properties if they fall over.

The hydrogen bus idea borders on the perpetual motion machine as described. Is he really talking about regenerative breaking creating hydrogen by electrolysis? I can't tell.  Making hydrogen from stale gasoline is limited by the number of junked cars and the effort of collecting the gasoline. Sort of like collecting restaurant grease to make biodiesel. So in respect to cleaning up the environment of a potentially toxic waste it's a winner. But here again what's it cost to outfit the bus fleet with such equipment? What's the IRR?

Where can I see some of this stuff? I mean do you have any 
current installs in Sustainable N.E. Seattle? It sounds exciting,
 if it works.
