BioChar Cook Stove in Tool Library for Emergency preparedness and other uses.

I'm putting on a BioChar Stove Class at the Tool Library to place one there for loan out and community use.

It works well in 'off grid' situations, mainly for quick cooking, boiling water, and with a pressure cooker, sterilization.

A couple of years back we did a workshop and placed some in Nicklesville to help them get through the cold winter and provide rapid cooking.

Kind of the situation a lot of people could be in if we had a large Cascadia earthquake.

here is my blog post/ announcement for the class.

Emergency Preparedness, Cooking, off-grid, sanitation, bbq.
