What parts of our mission are you interested in (for example, growing food/food security, appropriate energy technologies, transportation, community building, etc.)?
food security, community building
How do you see yourself being involved with Sustainable NE Seattle? What skills, talents and passions are you willing to share?
I sometimes need help doing small things around the house. I would like to barter my skills in exchange for a *known* someone to help with small chores around the house without the safety concerns I have, finding *unknown* odd-jobs people off the internet.
I am a passionate cook and cookie baker (my cookies get auctioned at fundraisers)--I can provide great homemade desserts for holidays and special occasions. I can prepare nice dishes and I can teach this, as well.
List other affiliations/groups that you participate in with similar missions.
I am involved in my church, Mt Baker Park Presbyterian Church. I have just rotated off the Board of Directors of Seattle Baroque Orchestra--music is a soul-feeding part of life and our community music organizations (which present world-class performances) need our support. I am a supporter of TeenFeed and Downtown Emergency Services Center, both are first-rate organizations that allow homeless youth and adults to survive, and even thrive, in Seattle.

FREE TO A GOOD HOME

Hi Neighbors!  I have available for free, an oak dining room set.  A pedestal table, 48" round with one

extending leaf, very good condition.  4 chairs, which are in good if not perfect condition; they serviced a dinner party a month ago.  It will go to the first interested party who shows up with a truck.
