Spoke with a neighbor on 92nd just east of 35th. She's a prev. block captain and may be interested. I definitely want to continue in this effort, though it seems to have low interest on this street at the moment. See More

Update:Loved the movie night I attended a few weeks ago, and the $3 solar oven workshop, and the solar cookout. This is a good group, and I'd like to spend more time with you. I do have a vegetable garden (no more grass), and I'm a semi-retired RN and an active volunteer ESL teacher. Just remembered (it's been a while), sometimes I use, or attempt to restore, people-powered sewing machines (treadles and handcranks).

The solar cookout was a stunning success. Great folks, tasty and well-prepared eats, the Barker Boys' good live music. Thank you everyone who had a hand in organizing all of this. Let's do it again.
