By working as a team, neighbors are coming together to realize significant discounts through the bulk purchase of solar panels. What parts of our mission are you interested in (for example, growing food/food security, appropriate energy technologies, transportation, community building, etc.)?
Solar energy, emergency radio communications. Community building and learning.
How do you see yourself being involved with Sustainable NE Seattle? What skills, talents and passions are you willing to share?
Radio communications consulting: radio and antenna set up.. Training non techies in the use of communications technology and procedures. I have worked 8 years a journeyman shipyard steel fabricator, also as a professional tower and antenna installer.
List other affiliations/groups that you participate in with similar missions.
Seattle ACS volunteer. Licensed Amateur Radio OP, K7HV. I have worked as radio communications consultant and trainer for Amazon Watch, Greenpeace, Rainforest Action network. in US, Canada, Central/South America & Europe.
