Sodbusting

Hi all -I wonder if anyone else is going to be breaking up their lawn, and if so could I possibly do a work trade in exchange for (gasp) taking home the sod? We are in the position of having zero lawn (!) but needing a small patch for our kid, who has special needs, to put her toes in. I don't know exact dimensions but we're taking way tiny, like maybe 10 X 20 ft. I have looked into seeding an herbal lawn mix but it would mean staying off of it all summer. I want to avoid buying from a sod farm…See More

Worm Bin Build

I put up a Wordpress blog post, complete with pictures, from the recent worm bin "bee" at the Gregorys'. If you're interested, check it out! We had a lot of fun that day and the bins are awesome. It was wonderful to meet some of the group, hope to meet others next work party opportunity.http://greenwalks.wordpress.com/2009/04/22/worm-bin-bee/Cheers,KarenSee More

Hi Karen, great report on the bee. It was the next best thing to being there. If you still need some starter worms, I can set you up. My population is quite populous!
