Political involvement

I've moved from Transition Snoqualmie Valley to Lopez Island, where we've started a group of "mullers". We're curious to know how other Transition groups handle their response to political issues. For example, many of us here have worked hard, as individuals, to get an anti-GMO referendum on our county ballot. Having succeeded, do we support it as individuals or put the Transition "brand" on our endorsement? There are many other issues in the coming election that also obviously demand a…

I do have a Corgi-Bailie She is smart and very spoiled. Also have Brandi-chihuahua-shitzu mix and Bella a vey noisy bird. Got remarried in May to my first husband. We were first married 30 years ago and got back together last year. Took back my maiden name and added his.

Sue here. Have been crazy busy as usual with work. I have done a few veggies this year and losts of flowers. Want to do more veggies next year. Hopefully will have more garden space next year. The Visioning event sounds awesome. Will be out of town. How is the house coming? Take care

I have checked out Transition Sno Valley. A lot going on. I do chat with Roger on occ. I plan on going to Seattle Tilth's early plant sale this Sat to see what I can find.

Nancy, Have you moved yet. I miss the carnation group. Have planted some kale and chard as of today. Mostly have transplanted stuff from my West Seattle House to NE Seattle house. All is well with my plants as with me. Take care

I will. I have a little strip of land in my new place that I am going to try some veggies as well on the south side of the house. Have also signed up for a pea patch. My back yard has a swimming pool-not very sustainable, but sure great in the summer!!!! I will come visit Can't come to the group this Tues, but may in future

Sue Beischl here-Roger's friend. I just joined about a month ago and am now doing the transition group myself. We have them on Mon eves at a couple of locations. I now live in the area. Moved from West Seattle last fall. Good to have you aboard.
