North Helpline works to provide basic needs services to greater north Seattle including Lake Forest Park, Shoreline, Bothell, and Kenmore. Since 1989 we have combated hunger and homelessness in the community with our Emergency Services and Food Bank programs.
Emergency Services provides financial assistance for utility shut off and eviction prevention, as well as a Baby Cupboard with diapers and other supplies for children aged 5 and under, hygiene supplies, toys and coats when available during winter months, and free sandwiches.
The Food Bank has been in operation since 2001 and serves an average of 1,500 individuals per week throughout 3 distribution days on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, distributing approximately 100,000 pounds of food per month.
North Helpline also provides a clinic space in partnership with RotaCare and NeighborCare clinics on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
