Drip Irrigation

I am trying to set up a drip irrigation system in my garden beds for as little money as possible so if anyone has some scrap pieces I would be glad to help them do some weeding or move things around as needed. Or if anyone has good pointers on the right spot to go for a timer and drip setup that would be great news as well. Thanks!

Profile Information

What parts of our mission are you interested in (for example, growing food/food security, appropriate energy technologies, transportation, community building, etc.)?
I would like to be able to have more discussions with other gardeners in order to get up to speed for growing food in this climate and raising chickens.
How do you see yourself being involved with Sustainable NE Seattle? What skills, talents and passions are you willing to share?
I am glad to lend a hand to other folks with my time or extra materials i might stumble into and would like to be able to get advice on who to talk to in regards to getting more compost delivered. I have experience propagating native plants for the National Park Service and have spent the past 4 years working as a biologist in the field of ecological restoration.

Paul,

Welcome. If you are interested in our mission statement it is on the home page on the left side (click on). If you have ideas about getting more neighborhood gardens on personal property we are all ears. Come to the Urban Farmers potluck and meet the group.

Hi Paul,  Welcome to this group!  We are having an Urban Farmers meeting this Sunday, if you're interested. This group has been lying fallow for a few months, but is now gearing up to support growing more food in our area . http://sustainableneseattle.ning.com/events/urban-farmers-potluck

Hope you can make it-  Susan
