What parts of our mission are you interested in (for example, growing food/food security, appropriate energy technologies, transportation, community building, etc.)?
Most of it, really. I'm looking into both permaculture and sustainable building as a business option or for job opportunities.
How do you see yourself being involved with Sustainable NE Seattle? What skills, talents and passions are you willing to share?
I have a background in software and internet development and consulting but I'm trying to get away from that back toward filmmaking, writing, and political, social economic activism (studied economics and politics in college). I want to find a way to use all this, as well as permaculture design, in social and grassroots movements toward transitioning to more sustainable lifestyles, economics, and politics. I'm currently unemployed so I'm looking for right livelihood that will also help pay the bills.
