NATURAL DISASTER AWARENESS NIGHT MAY 6th 5pm-6pm

Nathan Hale senior Marco McCray is hosting a natural disaster awareness/preparedness night at the Nathan Hale Library. All are welcome to come learn about how to be completely ready for an earthquake, tsunami, or any other natural disaster that may occur in our region. This will be held on May 6th and is for Marco's Senior Project and all support and attendance is greatly appreciated.

Picardo Farm P-Patch Community Project and Public Meeting

Hello and Greetings from Picardo Farm P-Patch~

Our garden was awarded a grant from the Department of Neighborhoods this past January and we are using the grant to rebuild a very old tool shed and also install a medicinal herb garden in the area around it. The toolshed has the closet where we place our food bank donations and also holds our power tools and a portion of the hand tools for the garden. Earth Day Celebration at First Light Farm

Come celebrate the start of the season with us! We’ll take you on a farm tour, teach you how to plant new seeds or starts, and kids can take part in a seed bomb workshop! Plant starts and seeds will be for sale throughout the day. We’ll end the day with a potluck and a discussion with Farmer Rosy of Camp Korey about soil health and bugs.
