Seeking Green Values housemate in Lake Wa. view home

Hello!, I have a very nice, older rental home which I share with compatible housemates.  It is like an URBAN RETREAT here.Could be Temporary or ongoing. Someone who is community-minded and has successfully lived with others and sees the financial and companionable value of it.

But the housematey should be low on possessions as the home is mostly furnished, though room can be completely empty.

Me, green values and part of neighborhood for a long time.  60 y.o. F, young at heart who works with children , art and animals of neighbors. I seek kind, good=natured, TRUSTWORTHY, communicative and friendly person to rent the 2nd bedroom and to share the ample kitchen, bathroom, living room, covered porch, narrow yard. Yard has a little garden space and you could could add some container gardening, too. Most of the narrow garden space is planted with lovely dahlias.   Healthy, nutricious food is something I like.Mostly organic.

The room is medium dimensions, plenty private, 2 closets, (one walk-in), private entry. Older house in upscale neighborhood. Minimal clutter and tons of light in the main rooms, facing east, facing the lake. Super nice landlord who has not yet jacked the rent up too much. He likes that I take good care of his place and that I select good, responsible housemates.

Has W/D and D/W, street parking and not much extra storage room. Certainly space for a bike and a few other boxes in storage garage. On the Burke-Gilman , 1 mile N. of Matthew's Beach. 5 hilly blocks to bus 75.

I would love to hear from you, if interested in discussing. This is a good space for nature-oriented people.

It is Nov. 20 and the home has just become available.  Rent is $700. including all utilities and basic internet.

Could be a bit less if housemate willing to help with deeper cleaning and some yardwork .

Sincerely,     Lynn Brevig at    206-529-7061

Hello Janeen. Your Greenwood store sounds great. I will visit there sometime!!!  Yes, I did find a housemate. Hoping it will go well for us. Found her on Craigs list.

I see you love to make repurposed/recycled art, like me. Have you already discovered www.seattlerecreative.org ? Wonderful place to get art supplies for next to nothing and to donate any of your extras. Storefront is on Greenwood Ave. N. near N. 85th Street. I'll probably be downsizing my art supply collection. My kitty and I move to another Seattle place after tax season.
