Despite the early morning clouds, we had cookers going and all but one dish cooked fully by the 5:30 start. Take note, ye-of-little-faith, that the Seattle sun can actually cook food in one of these simple cardboard and tin foil cookers even on spotty sun days! We had a full range of options prepared from beets and potatoes, chicken cattitore (?sp), veggies mix-up and applesauce bread, and more. Keep on cooking out there with your cookers. If there is interest, perhaps we will have another cooker building class this fall. Thanks to the Barker Boys for great musical accompaniment and to the Parks Dept for their helpers and facility making this event cook along. I think I will go put out my dinner for tonight...
