Getting the notice for the skills fair reminded me that I should promote my class on solar home design at the UW. This will be my 22nd year teaching the class through the ASUW Experimental College. I hope this is the appropriate way to do this. If I should do it differently, please advise. Thanks

Course covers: Basic home energy systems, characteristics & conservation (quick)
The solar resource, solar gain, site assessment & feasibility.
The emphasis is on practical passive design issues including; system types, characteristics, sizing, heat storage, construction details, efficiencies & costs.
PV (solar electric), solar hot water and incentives are also covered.
Green building materials and systems are discussed throughout.
