Dinner is at your feet!Many of us already appreciate the ability of the land around us, even in an urban setting, to grow food by way of our gardens. Nettles: What, Why and How, from Field to Kitchen and Beyond!

This past Saturday, an intrepid half dozen of us set out on a quest for NE Seattle's feral nettle. The class was organized through Sustainable NE Seattle with resources from Meadowbrook Community Center, the Sustainable NE Seattle Community Kitchen, and the NE Seattle Tool Library. Sustainable NE Seattle Working Group

Hi Everyone,

As Leo said, we had an excellent response to our meeting on March 23rd, looking at how Sustainable NE Seattle will look as we move forward. We had a very clear message, in the form of a unanimous vote on a single model. 

Based on that, we are moving forward with hammering out the details, with the intent of having things ready to pass over to the Board of Directors in just a few weeks! We are eager to have the input of any who want to contribute, so…
