This is a marvelous portrayal of how the 'street repair' crew, as they call themselves, interacted (or didn't, as sometimes perceived) with Portland city officials in getting their somewhat radical views about neighborhood art and sharing spaces underway . . . and ultimately converting their adversaries to their way of seeing things.

Folks who deal with government rules should watch this and check out Portland City Repair. Seattle City Repair is somewhat dormant at this point.

Portland City Repair's Mark Lakeman came up and did a presentation for Seattle City Repair some years ago. That's how I learn about the "Moon Day Tea House"
